Digby Kids Summer Club 25

Unleash the Fun, Ignite the Learning!

Overview

The Digby Kids Summer Club is a well-established program now in its fourth year. Designed for children and young people aged 5 to 16, it offers a blend of fun and education to keep young minds engaged during the summer holidays. The club is meticulously managed by professional, qualified teaching staff. Our curriculum is carefully aligned with national educational standards, ensuring that every activity, from games to workshops, contributes to your child's continuous development. We're a key initiative of the Digby Leadership Academy, and we're excited to welcome children from across the community every Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday throughout the entire month of August 2025.

As a key initiative of the Digby Leadership Academy, we also offer a free youth leadership programme for ages 15-18, designed to help young people gain skills, volunteer experience, and boost their CV.

Our Key Offerings

  • Cyber Workshop: We'll dive into the digital world with expert-led sessions on digital literacy, coding fundamentals, and crucial online safety skills, preparing children for a technology-driven future.
  • Mental Health Workshop: Our qualified professionals will lead guided discussions and activities to help children build emotional intelligence, resilience, and positive self-care practices.
  • STEM Workshop: Through exciting, curriculum-aligned projects, we'll spark curiosity and build foundational skills in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics.
  • Sports: Get active with structured physical activities that promote teamwork, sportsmanship, and a healthy, active lifestyle.
  • Games & Arts and Crafts: Our creative and recreational activities are thoughtfully integrated to develop fine motor skills, problem-solving abilities, and collaboration in a fun, pressure-free environment.

Inclusivity and Community Access

The Digby Kids Summer Club is a program for everyone. We are deeply committed to inclusivity and are proud to offer free attendance for children who receive Free School Meals (FSM). This vital initiative, championed by our partners "Bring to Brum" and "Nory Youths," ensures that all young people in our community have access to valuable educational and recreational opportunities, regardless of their financial background.
