Information, Advice and Guidance (IAG) is a project delivered by volunteers at the Khidmat Centre. The project aim is to assist and empower people in the community to access public services.

Friends of Small Heath Park (FOSHP) is a project run by volunteers to improve Small Heath Park and its facilities. They work in partnership with the local authorities and other service providers to make better use of the park.
The aim of this project is to:
SHCF in partnership with Friends of Small Heath Park, have acquired some bicycles from Birmingham City Council and has created a bike hub. The bikes are for the local residents' use to improve their well-being.
The bikes are also available for those who want to hire them. FOSHP arranges group rides in the park regularly. Please contact the Khidmat Centre for more information.

SHCF runs an active volunteering programme for people aged 18 and older. The aim is to help people gain experience and interpersonal skills, to enhance their employment prospects.
Volunteers on the programme can choose hours to suit their lifestyle and commitments.

SHCF has arranged with a professional solicitor to visit the Khidmat Centre. They provide free legal advice to residents living in Small Heath.
The solicitor visits the centre every Wednesday, from 1 pm to 2:30 pm.
